The Bridge Inn combines traditional with a touch of the contemporary. Set in the idyllic village of Stapleton, near Darlington the approach to the restaurant takes you from the busy of the town to the calm of the country in just a couple of minutes – just a stones throw from the River Tees.
The restaurant is famed for its fine food and quaint setting – it’s one of the most prestigious restaurants in the area.
The Bridge Inn dates back many centuries situated next to The Green which once was root to a 600 year old elm tree. In 1937 two birch trees were planted marking the Coronation of King George VI. In the past The Green was used for a food festival; today the festival is no more but you can still revel in the finest of foods at The Bridge Inn.
